When a Sylius project needs help

  1. The agency has moved on

    The shop runs, but the team that built its plugins and customizations is gone, and every change takes longer than it should.

  2. Sylius 1.14 support runs out

    Sylius 1.14 gets security fixes until December 2026. After that, a Sylius 1 shop gets no fixes from the Sylius team.

  3. The shop has become a platform

    Customer price lists, vendors, ERP and payment integrations: the code has outgrown its original design.

  4. Upgrades keep getting postponed

    PHP, Symfony and the plugins all move on, and each postponed upgrade makes the next one bigger.

Sylius 1 to 2, step by step

    Code Audit

    We list the plugins, overrides and integrations and check each one against Sylius 2. The result is the scope, the schedule and one fixed price.

  2. 02

    Tests first

    Characterization tests on checkout, orders, payments and the integrations the business depends on.

  3. 03

    Platform first

    PHP and Symfony move to versions Sylius 2 supports, so the Sylius step itself stays small.

  4. 04

    Plugins and customizations

    Each plugin is updated, replaced or rewritten. Each step is a merge request, and the tests must pass before it is merged.

  5. 05

    Release and watch

    We deploy with a rollback plan and watch orders and errors closely in the days after the release.

Sylius 2 in production

Since 2024 we have worked on the e-Poczta Polska e-services platform of Poczta Polska Usługi Cyfrowe (Envelo), built on Symfony 7, Sylius 2 and API Platform, as technical lead of the backend team.

Sylius questions

Do you build new Sylius shops or only look after existing ones?

Both. We build custom Sylius shops and platforms, and we take over, upgrade and maintain existing ones. If the agency that built your shop no longer looks after it, we start with a Takeover.

When does Sylius 1 stop getting fixes?

Sylius 1.14, the long-term support branch, gets security fixes until December 2026, according to the Sylius release cycle. Its bug fixes ended in December 2025.

How long does a move to Sylius 2 take?

It depends on the plugins, overrides and integrations. The Code Audit gives you the scope, the schedule and one fixed price before we start.

Can you work with our own team or our agency?

What does it cost?

Upgrades from €3,000. The fixed price for your shop comes in the quote after the Code Audit.
